Growing up in Wisconsin, surrounded by forests and open skies, deeply influenced my introspective nature and passion for storytelling. Now residing in California, I balance life as a business owner navigating municipal regulatory compliance with my work as a writer exploring themes of control, identity, and resilience.
My writing is informed by real-world experiences dealing with bureaucratic systems, witnessing firsthand how compassionate intentions can sometimes be turned against critical thought and individual autonomy.

My creative influences span a broad spectrum: the foundational insights of Orwell, Huxley, and Atwood, combined with the emotional depth and complexity of writers like Blake Crouch, Cormac McCarthy, and Isabel Allende. I am drawn to narratives that pair emotional authenticity with ethical complexity, striving to achieve this delicate balance in my own writing.

Looking Ahead

I am currently seeking publication for The Quiet Revolution, a speculative novel set in a near-future dystopian New York City, examining how therapeutic institutions, meant to nurture, can inadvertently cause deep harm. This novel delves into institutional control, resistance, and the unintended consequences of well-meaning interventions.
Additionally, I’ve developed another speculative fiction novel, Cyber Veil, further exploring themes of human consciousness, identity, and the delicate balance between freedom and control.
My ongoing interests revolve around how technology, institutional systems, and environmental changes reshape human experiences, highlighting both their potential and unforeseen consequences.
